058: Spring-Cleaning
To let go; to move forward. I have always found that it is a physical relief to let go of something you were terrified of losing. It feels like a spring-clean of your personal inventory—of your mind and heart. Windows are opened, carpets are thrown out, the corners are dusted. What you do not need, you put into black plastic bags and leave by the bin. Everything is renewed, and you draw a breath of fresh air that fills your lungs all the way down to your stomach. Things, relationships, people. When they are gone, there is nothing to be terrified of losing anymore. All you need to do is accept, and accept is a lighter guest than fear.
