065: The Thing About Spring
The thing about spring is that everything comes alive. Some places there might still be snow, but even there there will be traces of regeneration. Sparrows and thrushes gather in heaps where there is good soil for insects and seeds, and above them hawthorns and aspens blush in the morning sun. Soon the first flowers will appear.
And inside, we open our windows to let the air in—to let it sweep through the corridors and halls, swirl in the dark corners, and swipe across the ceilings. We brew tea or coffee, and stop by the windows on our way to our office. We inhale the fresh air. As we continue on our way, we smile.
