To be alive or to posses a life. Also, to have a certain quality of life relating to happiness, comfort, and income.
How would the dictionary define 'to survive'?
To continue to live after the end of a condition or an event. Also, to continue to exist.
How would the poet define 'to live' and 'to survive'?
Respectively: to have the safety to exist in joy and wonder; to exist after a traumatic event with no promise of joy or wonder.
So which one applies to you?
