119: Twin Flames
Their flames leap into the air as they inhale each other in passionate rage. Breaking apart, the fire subsides until they come together—again and again and again, like bulls repeatedly breaking themselves against a wall until they are so battered and bruised that they stumble away, half blinded by the brightness they so long endured. Softly they flit into each their void, and the windy drifts rising from their bottomless pits threaten to put them out. But they go on still. Flickering, one step at a time, until their flames once more brighten and they emerge from the darkness, strong once more, to engage in their battering dance of doom.
